Axes
A well-made axe is one of the oldest and most useful field tools — capable of processing firewood, clearing trail obstacles, and handling camp utility tasks that no other tool handles as efficiently. Axe selection depends on the intended use: head weight determines splitting power and fatigue over extended sessions; handle length affects swing mechanics and portability; and blade geometry determines whether the axe is optimized for splitting, felling, or general camp and trail work.
We carry a focused selection of camp and field axes suited for backcountry use, wood processing, and trail work. Choose based on your primary application and the weight you're willing to carry.
