Fly Fishing

BiO·TA Scientific was built around fly fishing. As a working field biologist who has spent years reading Western water systems — identifying aquatic invertebrates on stream surveys, conducting wetland delineations, and fishing the same rivers I study professionally — every brand and product in this department was selected because it performs in real conditions, not because it has the biggest marketing budget.

We carry flies from Stone Creek Outfitters, Hazy Fly Fishing, Risen Fly, Clouser's Fly Shop, Drifthook, and The Fly Fishing Place; rods from Tidewater Rods, Old 18, JT Outdoor Products, and Stone Creek; waders from Paramount Outdoors; and tying materials from Flymen Fishing Company. These are boutique and small-batch producers who care about what they make.
