Color choice is mostly about trigger preference: Natural Copper is the original and still the most versatile match for a range of mayfly nymphs, Red and Hot Orange trigger fish in stained water or tailwaters, Green and Chartreuse add hot-spot appeal for euro-nymphing rigs, and Black works well in low-light or very clear conditions where subtlety helps.
